Weld County Man Gets Consecutive Life Sentences For Two Murders
A Greeley man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for a 2020 double homicide, according to the Weld County District Attorney's Office.
According to a release from the DA's office, 50-year-old Kevin Eastman was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus 27 years by Weld District Court Judge Marcello Kopcow.
Eastman was recently convicted of killing Heather Frank and Scott Sessions in February of 2020. Eastman was convicted in a three-week trial that ended on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the release, he was found guilty of the following charges:
COUNT 1: MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
COUNT 2: MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
COUNT 3: TAMPERING WITH A DECEASED HUMAN BODY
COUNT 4: TAMPERING WITH A DECEASED HUMAN BODY
COUNT 5: TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
COUNT 6: TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
Then release says the judge took testimony from several people, including Session's father and Heather Frank's son before handing down the sentence.
