Hot of the press! Here are some updates in regards to the winter weather expected over the next few days! Many of the Winter Storm Watches that were in place have been upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings. Most locations in a Winter Storm Warning could see 4 to 8 inches of snow, but some locations could see up to a foot! Winter Weather Advisories have also been issued for the far southern Nebraska panhandle where 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected. Similar totals are expected in southeast Carbon County and Shirley Basin where Advisories are also in effect. 5 to 10 inches of snow are expected on the eastern side of the Snowy Range. Valley locations such as Saratoga and Laramie will likely not see major accumulations, with amounts below 3 inches. Winter Storm Warnings will be in effect late Thursday morning through early Saturday morning. Travel could be very difficult so please refer to wyoroad.info and dot.nebraska.gov for road impacts.
