Vehicle Fire in Mills Area Early Saturday Investigated As Arson

Natrona County sheriff's deputies are treating a vehicle fire in the Mills area early Saturday as arson.

At 1:22 a.m., the Natrona County Fire Protection District responded to a vehicle fire in the 5300 block of Hanly Street. Mills firefighters and Natrona County sheriff's deputies also responded.

When they arrived, they found an F-150 pickup truck fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire and left the scene shortly after 3 a.m.

Investigators found a pile of burning clothes, furnishings and other household materials next to the vehicle.

No structures were damaged in the blaze.
