University of Wyoming bulldogger Jake Fulton sustained a transfer penalty moving to Laramie from Lincoln and did so without a fuss because he wanted to compete at a college where the coach is a pro steer wrestler with successful experience at the national finals. Fulton is a native of Valentine, NE so being at the University of Nebraska was important to him after leaving Casper College but once Beau Clark was signed to lead the UW program it wasn't a hard decision for Fulton to change course. He was only available to the Cowboys for two fall rodeos but in the last one he was on the horns and had one down so fast you could miss it by blinking. Fulton won the Sunday championship round of the Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo hosted by Laramie County Community College. The College National Finals Rodeo is not unfamiliar territory for Jake and he will do all that he can to make a return engagement in June
