The University of Wyoming has signed three energy agreements with partners in Taiwan.

That's according to a news release from Governor Mark Gordon's office. The agrements were signed as part of a trade mission the governor led to Taiwan.

The release says memoranda of understanding were signed with "National Central University, the National Atomic Research Institute, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute."

The release says the agreements will create new international opportunities for UW faculty and students

Topics covered in the agreement include carbon capture, critical minerals and other energy technologies.
