The 2026 University of Wyoming Homecoming Parade will follow a different route than usual..

Parade Scheduled For Sept. 26

According to uwyo.edu. "The parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the corner of Ninth and Bradley streets. It will travel south on Ninth Street to Grand Avenue, west on Grand to Third Street, and north on Third Street to Bradley."

So how is that different? According to Townsquare Media's David Settle:

"The route used to start at 9th and Ivinson and go west to 3rd, then for a block on 3rd to Grand, and east on Grand to 13th.With construction on Ivinson between 9th and 15th streets, they can't use it this year.

This year's route uses more of 9th and 3rd than any previous year, and it's only because of the construction. The end of the route is at 3rd Street and Bradley Street. "

This year's theme is ''Cowboy Fever."

According to the website:  "Two sisters -- who each served as president of the University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) Board of Directors -- have been selected as the grand marshals of the UW Homecoming parade.Candy (Carroll) France and Jana (Carroll) Cook will lead the annual parade, a cherished Homecoming tradition, Saturday, Sept. 26."
