Updated List Of Cheyenne City Council, Mayoral Candidates

With two days left to file for the primary election for the office of Mayor of Cheyenne and Cheyenne City Council, the list of candidates for those offices seems to be a fairly short one.

There are three candidates for mayor, with two scheduled to advance to the general election. If the primary were held today, every single city council candidate who has filed would advance to the general election.

The council has two seats open in each of the three wards, and four candidates from each ward will advance to the general election if that many want to run. Only Ward III has four official candidates so far.

Two of the three mayoral candidates would advance if the primary were held today.

Candidates have until the end of the business day on Friday, May 29, to file for the August primary election.
