CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Truck drivers who stop in Cheyenne say they've seen a wide variety of local responses to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cheyenne is a popular stop for truckers on Interstate 80 or I-25. The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports they go all over the country and get their own view of local reactions to COVID-19. Vicente Lopez owns True Grace Farm and Truck in Cheyenne.

Lopez says he has encountered public health measures so strict it was difficult for him to get a shower on the road. Sheila Foertsch with the Wyoming Trucking Association says truck stops have lobbied successfully to keep their restaurants open.
