The 24th Annual Operation Back To School In Cheyenne Is A Great Success

One of the great things about Cheyenne is that the people are so charitable. The students of Laramie County School District 1 benefit from that charity.  The 24th annual "Operation Back To School" supply drive has been successful again this year thanks to many business and their people giving to the cause.

OBTS has sponsors from all over the community to include, but not limited to: Cheyenne Light Fuel and Power, FE Warren AFB, Laramie County Community College and many others.

Needs Inc was another group that distributed 300 backpacks following the event. Executive Director Barbara Fecht said, "Without the selfless generosity of the Cheyenne community, this never would have been possible."

A special thanks to the many local businesses, churches and non-profit organizations who gave to help meet the needs of Cheyenne children who find themselves less fortunate than others.
