
Thankful Thursday Spring 2018 Schedule
The party for a purpose is coming back this spring! Another chance for you to help raise money for local charities, bid on local auction items, enjoy great food, drinks, and company, and of course win some cash!
The weekly party returns to the AMVETS Post 10 building in Cheyenne, located at 3839 East Lincolnway.
Every Thursday from March 7th through May 24th we'll meet up at 4:30 p.m. The live auction starts around 6 p.m. and usually wraps up sometime between 9 - 10 p.m.
March 1st - Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming
The mission is coordinating efforts in Wyoming to prevent incidents of child neglect, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
March 8th - Safe Harbor
Provide a child friendly, safe and supportive environment for abused and neglected children.
March 15th - Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless
The Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless is an all volunteer non-profit organization working for and with the homeless in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
March 22nd - Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA)
This chapter in Laramie County is a united organization of bikers who empower victims of child abuse and remove their fear. they work in conjunction with local and state officials who are already in place to protect children and they stand ready to lend support to their wounded friends by involving the with an established, united organization.
March 29th - Meals on Wheels
Dedicated to improving the quality of life of those with greatest physical, nutritional, social, and economic needs. The only area program that delivers hot meals in person, which allows added availability to check on clients' safety and provide daily companionship.
April 5th - The ARC of Laramie County
The ARC of Laramie County promotes and protects the human rights with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community.
April 12th - Health Works
Qualified health center dedicated to the provision of premier medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services to all residents of Cheyenne and Laramie County. they provide acute, chronic, and preventative care services and strive to be "Your Health Care Home".
April 19th - Black Dog Animal Rescue
Black Dog Animal Rescue is Wyoming's largest private animal rescue and advocacy organization.
April 26th - Alzheimer's Association
Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the US. In Wyoming, the Alzheimer's Association provides care and support to those affected, education, advocacy and funds to fuel vital research.
May 3rd - Wyoming Senior Citizens
Duel purpose is to help elderly and disabled residents to remain living independently by paying a stipend to low income volunteers 55+ for providing free assistance and visits to clients and free respite for caregivers of clients with dementia.
May 10th - Community Action of Laramie County
Preschool program that services pregnant women, children and their families who are living in poverty.
May 17th - Optimist International
Members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.
May 24th - Family Promise of Cheyenne
The mission of Family Promise of Cheyenne is to provide homeless families with emergency and on-going shelter, meals, and supoortive services through a unique partnership with various faith communities.
