WYDOT says paving work is scheduled for this week in Laramie.

This summer, commuters in Cheyenne might want to pack a little extra patience as construction shakes up familiar routes

The work is expected to take about two weeks to finish.

The tax is expected to raise about $66 million countywide, with the city getting about $42.5 million of that.

Other major street projects include a new one-lane roundabout and the Christenson Road Project.

People should expect some delays or detours in work areas.

The project will start Tuesday if the weather cooperates.

Work on the Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project is slated to resume this week according to City of Cheyenne spokesman Scott Smith.

Thomes Avenue between West 25th and West 26th Streets is closed to all traffic starting today for work being done for the State of Wyoming.
