Laramie County deputies are asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole more than $14,000 worth of wire from a site belonging to High West Energy.

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he plans to vote on a proposal to allow High West Energy a franchise to serve 14 customers in Cheyenne when the issue comes back before the city council.
The Cheyenne City Council finance committee voted 2-1 Monday in favor of sending a proposal to grant High West Energy a franchise to continue serving 14 customers within the Cheyenne city limits.
