Laramie County deputies are asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole more than $14,000 worth of wire from a site belonging to High West Energy.

As of Thursday morning, virtually all residential members have had their power restored, the cooperative said.

It may be late tonight before High West Energy gets power restored to some 500 residential customers

Heithoff says the clinic is a 'quality of life issue" for the utility's customers.

The annual meeting of the members of High West Energy, Inc. will be held at Kimball High School in Kimball, Nebraska at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

Bills normally due on October 28 will be due on December 2. Late fees for the October billing cycle will be waived for qualifying members.

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he plans to vote on a proposal to allow High West Energy a franchise to serve 14 customers in Cheyenne when the issue comes back before the city council.

The Cheyenne City Council finance committee  voted 2-1  Monday in favor of sending a proposal to grant High West Energy a franchise to continue serving 14 customers within the Cheyenne city limits. Ward 2 Councilman Jack Spiker said d he voted for the proposal in committee in part because he felt a memorandum on the issue written by the City Attorney's Office was unfairly slanted against High West
