Earlier this month the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, located in Colorado Springs, announced the opening of a temporary gallery titled "Tribute to Chris Ledoux".

I found some clues that say Garth may be coming to CFD in 2021. I don't know what more proof we need. Well, except for an official announcement from CFD or Garth.

March 9 is one of those Wyoming days that we both don't really enjoy remembering, but also never want to forget. It was the day we lost Chris LeDoux.

God really did bless the Cowboy State. Besides natural resources and rich Old West history, there are many awesome things Wyoming gave the world.

"The last time I played (CFD) was on the 100th anniversary and I got to play it with the best damn guy on the planet by the name of Chris LeDoux," Brooks said. "I can't invite myself, but if I could invite myself, having a 125th-anniversary belt buckle would be cool."

On March 9, 2005, the world lost a legend and Wyoming lost a favorite son when country music superstar and hall of fame rodeo champion Chris LeDoux died.

There are plenty of songs about the West. There are plenty of songs about Wyoming. But how many of those songs are written by someone who came from Wyoming? Chris LeDoux comes to mind immediately to anyone who knows anything about Wyoming or country music...

It's been almost 11 years since Chris' passing on March 9, 2005.  He touched the lives of not only the people of Wyoming, but people all over the world!
