Scattered severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska with large hail and damaging winds possible.
Very large hail (possibly to baseballs), downburst winds to 70 mph and a few tornadoes are possible Wednesday afternoon through mid evening for the area.
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of severe thunderstorms in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle today.
After today, rain chances really begin to ramp up, with widespread showers and thunderstorms returning Wednesday and continuing through the rest of the week.
