SE Wyoming Weather: Flood Watch Today, 80s Possible Sunday
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says southeast Wyoming can expect a wet start to the upcoming weekend, followed by drier, warmer weather.
A flood watch remains in effect for today [June 16].
The agency posted the following on its website:
Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle, wet conditions will continue for both Friday and Saturday. A Flood Watch remains in effect for Friday across much of the forecast area. We begin to see lower chances for showers and storms Saturday, but still good chances across our southern locations Saturday afternoon and evening. Finally for Sunday, we expect dry conditions across the forecast area. Expect increasing temperatures for the weekend, with temperatures Sunday well into the 80s across the Panhandle and low to mid 70s across southeast Wyoming. There is some light at the end of the tunnel for some good weather, hang in there!
