Strong Winds, Large Hail Possible In SE Wyoming Monday

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe storms are possible in southeast Wyoming on Monday, June 2.

Those storms could include strong winds and large hail. The agency posted the following on its website:

There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for western Nebraska and portions of southeast Wyoming on Monday. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) extends into much of southeast Wyoming. Primary threats look to be large hail and damaging wind gusts, but more details will continue to unfold as this event draws nearer. Storms will begin in the afternoon and continue through evening, with more specific timing in future updates. Make sure to prepare for severe weather potential on Monday
