Four wanted people were arrested after Laramie County Sheriff's deputies spotted a stolen SUV at the McDonald's on South Greeley Highway Sunday morning.

According to Public Information Officer Brandon Warner, it all started around 11:45 a.m. after deputies observed three people, later identified as 41-year-old Elizabeth Bautista and 52-year-old Tony Bowman, both of Cheyenne, and 32-year-old transient James Estrada, get out of a GMC Yukon, which was reported stolen from the Rawlins area, and go into the restaurant.

When deputies went in to speak with them, Bautista and Estrada ran out of the restaurant.

"Deputies chased the suspects on foot and apprehended both suspects in the 100 block of Jefferson Road," Warner said in a press release.

Bautista had seven warrants, one from Laramie County and one from Albany County, and Estrada had three warrants, one from Colorado, one from Albany County, and one from Platte County.

Bowman left the scene in the stolen SUV and deputies aired the license plate number and vehicle description.

Warner says Bautista and Estrada told deputies that the SUV belonged to someone known to them as “A-Dub.”

"Less than an hour later, the Cheyenne Police Department contacted the Yukon in the Family Dollar parking lot at 508 Central Ave.," said Warner. "Aaron Bagby was in the vehicle when officers arrived."

The 34-year-old Cheyenne resident reportedly told the police that one of the Estrada brothers had driven him to the Family Dollar and gone inside the Lamp Lounge and that he had gotten into the driver's seat to wait for him.

Police say they found a small metal pipe with suspected NR residue in the pocket of the jacket that Babgy had been wearing.

Bagby was arrested for motor vehicle theft and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He also had a warrant out of Laramie County.

Warner says deputies continued to look for Bowman due to him having an active arrest warrant out of Laramie County and for questioning about his involvement in the situation.

He was arrested at about 2:20 p.m. after a deputy located him at his and Bautista's residence at 701 Mitchell Court.

"We want to thank the Cheyenne Police Department and Laramie County Communications Center for their help," said Warner.
