The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of severe storms this afternoon and evening across much of southeast Wyoming.

The agency posted the following on its website: "There is a marginal risk for severe weather for portions of the forecast area this afternoon. Storms will be widespread across the area with multiple rounds of storms possible throughout the day, so most locations will receive precipitation. The primary concern in storms will be hail and strong winds. Heavy rain will also be possible in storms. The strongest storms are likely to occur between 3 PM this afternoon and 9 PM this evening."

Wyoming Honor Farm Wild Horse Program

Just outside of Riverton, inmates and horses have been working together since 1988. Inmate trainers work to make horses and wild burros gentle and catchable. They will put halters on the horses and begin to ride some of them, which are then available for adoption throoughout the year.
