The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms in southeast Wyoming.

The agency posted the following on its website:  Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening across the area. A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will have the potential to produce strong winds and hail. The best time window for thunderstorms is 2PM-7PM in Wyoming and 4PM-9PM in Nebraska.

The agency says that while most storms will not feature hail, there could be isolated half-dollar size hail with some storms.
