Rain, Possibly Heavy At Times, In SE Wyoming Forecast Through Sunday
It looks like Southeast Wyoming can expect rainy weather through the weekend. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, with strong winds also possible.
The agency posted the following on its website: : The remnants of a tropical system from the Gulf of California is forecast to lift northeast across the area today. This system will aid in the development of numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms today through late this evening. A Slight Risk for excessive rainfall continues across most of the eastern high plains, with the most favorable area north of the North Platte River Valley. Strong to Marginally Severe thunderstorms are also possible with strong, gusty winds over 60 MPH east of Interstate 25.

Rainy day enjoyers will like the forecast the next few days as a Pacific system moves through with multiple rounds of showers and storms. Sunny day people will need to hold out a little longer. This rainy pattern persists through the weekend before the system passes and dry air from the northwest filters in behind it Monday
