Sobey Signs to Play for Cowboys

U-W basketball Coach Larry Shyatt says 6-3 guard Nathan Sobey has signed a letter of intent to play for the Cowboy basketball team. Sobey was a first team All Arizona Community College Athletic Conference selection this past season. He averaged 16.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game this past season playing for Cochise Community College in Douglas, Arizona. Sobey is a native of Australia. Shyatt says Sobey should help take up some of the slack left by J.D. Luster and Francisco Cruz, both of whom were seniors this past season.
