Snow Possible In SE Wyoming Today, Wednesday Night
Southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could get snow today, with brief periods of heavy snow possible at times in some areas.
Another round of snow showers is possible on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on it's website on Monday morning:
Taking a look at the extended forecast, scattered snow showers will be possible today. Brief periods of heavy snowfall with gusty winds will be possible across east-central Wyoming and the no rthern Nebraska Panhandle, which could significantly reduce visibility at times. Chances for precipitation return Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday as snowfall and strong winds are likely with the next system. Heaviest snowfall Wednesday evening will be in the mountains, but lower elevations could still see light accumulations. Colder temperatures are expected Thursday and Thursday night where overnight lows will be in the single digits for most areas west of I-25.
