The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says southeast residents could face severe storm with hail, strong winds and heavy rain on Friday.

But if you are tired of cool, wet weather, the good news is that warmer summer-like weather is on the way on Saturday.

The agency posted the following on its website:

Tired of the rain yet? Hopefully not! Another day of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms is expected on Friday. There is also a marginal risk for severe weather during the afternoon hours for far southeast Wyoming. Storms could contain hail, wind, and heavy rains.
