Senate Committee passes co-employee immunity bill
The Senate Labor, Health and Social Services committee passed a co-employee immunity bill on a 3-2 vote this morning. The bill raises the standard of proof in an employee liability case. AFL-CIO spokesman Kim Floyd says "will take from an employee the right to sue a superviosr or co-employee who knowingly forced them to work in an unsafe situation." SF 61 now moves on to the Senate floor.
