SE Wyoming Could See Blast Of Winter Weather Starting Sunday
While we've had a couple of short cold spells and an occasional snow flurry, for December in Wyoming, it hasn't looked much like, well, December in Wyoming.
When Will It Start To Look A Lot Like Christmas?
We asked Cheyenne-based meteorologist Don Day Jr. when that might change. Here was his response: ''(The) pattern changes Late sunday into Monday, there is plenty of winter weather but stuck to our east, pattern will be more december like starting early next week."

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is saying much the same thing:
Enjoy the weather the rest of the work week, as it may turn more unsettled this weekend. Looking at sunny skies and dry weather through Friday with above average temperatures. A strong cold front is possible Saturday into Sunday, bringing strong winds to southeast Wyoming Saturday night/Sunday morning ahead of the front. Behind the front, much colder temperatures and snow is possible that could impact travel further. Still too early for snow amounts at this time, we will get those out on later updates to the forecast. Stay tuned!
The details are a little unclear at this point, but the situation bears watching.
