
SE Wyoming Bracing For Double-Digit Negative Wind Chills
While the snow may have ended in southeast Wyoming for now, residents are bracing for bitterly cold wind chills, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on its website:
Extreme Cold Warnings and Cold Weather Advisories remain in effect through 11am Thursday morning. Very cold wind, chills as low as -35F, are possible in the Panhandle, while -20 to -30F wind chills are possible in southeast Wyoming. Overnight lows will be well into the negatives. Stay warm!
Bone-chilling wind chills are expected tonight acriss the region:
It’ll be another cold one out there with most locations east of I-25 struggling to reach the teens, while locations west of I-25 will be “tropical” in the 20s and 30s. Overnight winds chills will be quite cold, with many locations east of I-25 seeing -20 to -35F wind chills. Stay warm today!
