Rock Springs Man Held On $100,000 Bond
A 49-year-old Rock Springs man is being held on $100,000 bond while he awaits sentencing on a blackmailing conviction.
Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department spokesman Dick Blust says Randall Jerome Tummell was originally charged with blackmail, sexual assault in the second degree and stalking when he was arrested in September.
Last month he pled guilty to blackmail and was released on bond while a pre-sentence investigation was conducted.
But this month he was accused of leaving Sweetwater County, which would be a violation of his bond. Blust says a warrant was issued for Tummell and he was arrested on Saturday.
This time his bond has been set at $100,000 by a District Court Judge. At last report, he was in jail at the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
