Rep. Cheney Issues Statement On Mueller Comments

Wyoming congresswoman Liz Cheney has issued a statement on comments made on Wednesday by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on the investigation into allegations of collusion between President Trump and the Russians in the 2016 Presidental election.

Rep. Cheney's statement reads as follows

''Special Counsel Mueller said today that his report speaks for itself, and confirmed what we already knew: there was no collusion and the Justice Department found there was no obstruction. I support the Attorney General’s determination to investigate improper behavior by some at the highest levels of the Obama Justice Department and FBI. We must also ensure we are taking all necessary steps to safeguard our election process from foreign interference. It is long past time for Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats in the House to stop peddling falsehoods about the President and start doing the real work we were all elected to do.”
