Proposed Wyo Bill Would Cancel UW’s Gun Rules

The fight continues in Wyoming courts as to whether the University Of Wyoming can make its own gun rules on campus.

Senate File 88, proposed by gun rights advocates in the state legislator, would end the court battle with one law - if the bill passes.

But the bill goes further than that. The so called, “repeal gun-free zones”,  would also allow for concealed carry at all UW events and facilities, including indoor and outdoor athletic events.

The bill was introduced by Sen. Anthony Bouchard, R-Cheyenne and so far has 13 sponsors.
