Cheyenne businessman Patrick Collins on Tuesday was re-elected to a second term as Mayor of Cheyenne.

Collins, a long-time City Councilman, defeated Rick Coppinger in a rematch of the 2020 election for the city's top elected position.

Several Incumbents Re-Elected To The City Council

Most incumbents on the Cheyenne City Council were also re-elected. That included Jeff White and Pete Laybourn in Ward I and Tom Segrave in Ward II.

Joining Segrave on the council will be Kathy Emmons who was elected to replace councilman Brian Cook, who did not run for re-election.

The one challenger who was successful was Mark Moody in Ward III. Moody knocked off incumbent Richard Johnson and will join incumbent Michelle Aldrich on the council in 2025.

Three other incumbents--Scott Roybal, Mark Rinne, and Ken Esquibel--were not up for election this year and will return to the council.
