Cheyenne is a great place to live.

But it's not always a great place to drive.

Let's face it, some people here are just bad drivers. Speeding. Running red lights. School zone violations. You name it, we have people doing it.

If you drive here, or even spend time on social media, you already know about some of the problems. Not that everyone here is a bad driver, they aren't. But we do seem to have our share.

Drunk driving is another issue, as it is across Wyoming. For all of the educational efforts and law enforcement crackdowns, it still happens way more than it should. Wyoming typically has one of the highest DUI rates in the country, and Cheyenne is not exempt.

Winter driving is a challenge too. It can snow in Cheyenne almost any month of the year, and real winter storms are common at least from September into May. Ice, snow, strong winds, and whiteout conditions are all common occurrences. Not to mention those who just aren't very good at driving in winter weather. The old saying that "practice makes perfect" doesn't always seem to apply.

Then there are construction zones. Yes, the work needs to be done, we get it. But it does pose challenges sometimes, especially when impatient drivers decide they don't have the time to wait.

How about parking in downtown Cheyenne? Finding a spot can be a challenge.

So what do you think? What is the worst thing about driving in Cheyenne? Take our poll and give us your opinion!
