NWS Publishes Satellite Photo Of Fire Smoke Plume

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has posted a satellite photo of the smoke plume from the Pedro Mountain Fire in central Wyoming.

The photo was taken around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28. The fire has been burning since last weekend, and at last report had burned over 10,000 acres.
