Cheyenne, Laramie, SE Wyoming Could See Snow This Week
While the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says today and tomorrow should feature warm, pleasant weather across southeast Wyoming, cold weather and snow are likely headed our way later in the week.
The agency posted the following on its website:
Big weather changes coming this week! Tuesday will be the last dry and mild day as the next storm system approaches. Clouds will increase throughout the day, with some high terrain rain and snow showers developing Tuesday evening. Wednesday will feel like a transition day between seasons as a cold front pushes through. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible and temperatures will be cooler. Accumulating mountain snow is likely Wednesday morning through Thursday night. Those recreating or hunting in the mountains should prepare for winter conditions. Even colder temperatures are expected Thursday with widespread precipitation. Snow is likely west of the Laramie Range and rain east of the Laramie Range. Snow could make it as far east as the Nebraska panhandle Thursday night. Be sure to check back for updates as this storm system evolves!
