Not So Lovely Wind to Blast Southeast Wyoming, Nebraska Panhandle This Valentine’s Day
A windy Valentine's Day is in store for portions of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
A High Wind Warning and High Wind Watches are in effect from late tonight through Tuesday evening, with gusts up to 70 mph expected in the Warning area, which includes Interstate 25 near Bordeaux and Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne.

The NWS says light snow will develop overnight and lead to much colder temperatures, which may make you want to cuddle up with your valentine.

Here’s a look at your Valentine’s Day forecast! Clouds will increase throughout the day as the next storm system moves through. The incoming cold front will lead to windy conditions across the area with high winds possible for portions of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle. Snow will develop overnight and lead to much colder temperatures Tuesday night and Wednesday.
