Governor Mark Gordon has announced the appointment of Nathaniel Hibben to serve as a District Court Judge In Laramie County.

Hibben Has Been Serving As A Circuit Court Judge

Hibben has served as a Circuit Court Judge in Torrington since 2019. According to a news release from the Governor's Office. Prior to that he worked "as an attorney in private practice, as a Municipal Judge in the town of Torrington, and as a public defender and Deputy Goshen County Attorney" according to the release.

''My thanks to Governor Gordon and the Judicial Nominating Commission for their work on this process, and my thanks to Governor Gordon for the honor of this appointment,” Hibben said. “I look forward to serving the people of Laramie County, and I am proud to be a part of the Wyoming judiciary.''

Hibben will replace Judge Stephen Sharpe on May 9. Sharpe is retiring.
