
Meteorologist Don Day: SE Wyoming Still Pretty Dry So Far
With April almost over and winter officially in the books, we asked Cheyenne-based meteorologist Don Day Jr how we are doing in terms of precipitation.
Day is the founder and President of Dayweather Inc.
Day said that Cheyenne as well as Pine Bluffs, Wheatland and Torrington are running below average, while Laramie is doing a little better
Here is what he told us:''It is certainly dry in SE WY especially around Cheyenne, Pine Bluffs Wheatland, Torrington Cheyenne is 0.67 below average as of today (2.72” total precipitation) since 1/1 but its has been drier that average if you include the fall. Laramie is doing better 0.54” above average, total 2.52” since 1/1.''
