Men Facing Felony Marijuana Charges After Crash Near Cheyenne
Two Georgia men are facing felony marijuana charges after a crash on Interstate 80 east of Cheyenne Tuesday morning.
According to an affidavit, a responding Wyoming trooper smelled marijuana coming from 22-year-old Derek Drumgo and 23-year-old Dominick Hall and deployed his K9 partner, who alerted on their vehicle.
When the trooper searched the vehicle, he found several vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana in a locked duffel bag on the back seat. He also found a roll of vacuum bags in a suitcase that Drumgo and Hall reportedly shared.
Drumgo and Hall were arrested and have been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and felony possession of marijuana. If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison.
Both men are currently being held in the Laramie County Jail on $10,000 cash bonds. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.
