Interstate 80 between Walcott Junction (Exit 235) and Cooper Cove Road (Exit 279) is still closed, but the rest of I-80 is now open.
ORIGINAL STORY:
More than 170 miles of Interstate 80 in southeast Wyoming have been closed due to a crash between Rawlins and Wamsutter at milepost 191, the Wyoming Department of Transportation says.
As of 9:44 a.m., both lanes between Creston Junction (Exit 187) and Wyoming 72 (Exit 255); the westbound lanes between Wyoming 72 and Cooper Cove Road (Exit 279); and both lanes between Cooper Cove Road and Laramie were closed.
As of 8 a.m., the estimated opening time is between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Black Ice Advisory
The eastbound lanes between Wyoming 72 and Cooper Cove Road are open, but a black ice advisory is in effect.
Rolling Closure
Both lanes between Laramie and Buford (Exit 335) and the westbound lanes between Buford and Interstate 25 in Cheyenne (Exit 359) are also closed due to rolling closure.
