Man Arrested For First-Degree Murder In Fort Collins
A 20-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in Fort Collins in comnection with the death of a woman who was found unconscious in a parking lot and who later died.
That's accortding to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page. According to the post, the victim was found unconscious in a parking lot at 525 East Drake Road on Saturday. While still alive at that point, she later died at a local hospital from injuries the post decribes as being "consistent with an assualt."
The post says investigators found out that 20-year-old Stephen McNeil knew the vicitm and they also found evidence linking him to the crime as a suspect.
McNeil was picked up by police on Sunday and arrested on First-Degree-Murder charges as well as domestic violence allegations and charges of violating a protection order.
