Cheyenne visitors will have a trendy new place to stay this summer. While renovations continue inside The Lincoln downstairs, a loft above the historic movie theater turned live entertainment venue will soon hit the vacation rental market.

The one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is perched over the iconic Lincoln marquee, which has been a Cheyenne institution for nearly a century.

The space features exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, antique furniture, eclectic artwork, a full kitchen, breakfast nook, office suite, queen bed, shower, bathtub, and a private entrance.

When The Lincoln reopens as a live music venue later this year, fans will have a unique opportunity to hear their favorite bands soundcheck from the comfort of their living room.

In the summer months, patio furniture will be set out on the Lincoln sign, offering visitors the most unique vantage point in downtown Cheyenne.

Since it opened in 1929, The Lincoln has hosted more than two million people, including former President Ronald Reagan and many of Hollywood's biggest stars. Although its days as a movie theater are now over, The Lincoln endures as one of Cheyenne's most legendary landmarks.
