Students who want to attend Laramie County Community College classes starting on August 31 need to apply by Monday, August 17, according to LCCC spokesman Troy Rumpf.

He says financial aid for the fall semester is still available. Rumpf says anyone wanting financial aid needs to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Rumpf says LCCC has added several new or improved programs that allow students to get a certificate or degree. These Include:

  • Cybersecurity
  • HVAC
  • Construction Management
  • Welding Technology

Rumpf says LCCC offer more than 50 student programs with over 90 different areas of concentration. He says many of the courses are offered online and during evening hours to accommodate  people with busy daytime schedules.

Even though the new semester starts August 31, Rumpf says there are many programs and classes with later starting dates, so even if someone misses the start of the semester they may still be able to take some classes.
