Lawsuit Claims Cheyenne Hospital’s Negligence Caused Boy’s Death
The family of a 15-month-old boy is suing Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, alleging the hospital's negligence caused the toddler's death.
According to the lawsuit, Oliver Skully's family took him to CRMC in November 2016, but staff told them to go home because Oliver wouldn't be treated for about eight hours.
The boy died the next day from a severe internal infection caused by bacterial pneumonia.
CRMC spokeswoman Kathy Baker says the hospital is aware of the suit, but can't comment on pending litigation.
