UPDATE: National Weather Service Now Warning About Excessive Rainfall
UPDATE: The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service now says there is a risk of excessive rainfall in much of southeast Wyoming, including Cheyenne:
Original Post The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about possible severe storms in southeast Wyoming today [June 24].
The agency posted the following on its website: "A Marginal to Slight risk for severe weather is in effect across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska today. All modes of severe weather will be possible, with the primary concerns being large hail and damaging winds. Best timing for storms will be between 2 PM and 9 PM."
