A 17-year-old Laramie resident is facing charges of Aggravated Assault and Larceny, following an incident at a Laramie restaurant where it is said the juvenile was employed.

According to a release from the Laramie Police Department, the 17-year-old male was arrested the morning of February 3rd for aggravated assault, after the juvenile allegedly got into an argument with his employer at a restaurant on the 2600 block of Grand Ave.

Laramie Police Commander Mitch Cushman says the suspect allegedly had a firearm and threatened a person with it and that the suspect is also being accused of stealing from the restaurant, leading to a charge of petite larceny.

It is further said that the suspect had originally given a false date of birth, leading to the assumption that he was 22-years-old.  It was discovered later however, that the suspect was actually only 17.

Laramie Police say the investigation is on-going.
