This has been a big talk amongst neighbors to the east, concerning their children going to a four-day school week, rather than the traditional five day. After much talk, debate and discussion, the decision has been made for the children of Laramie County School District 2 will now attend school four days a week rather than five days.

The vote came down Monday night, 7-1 in favor of the four-day school week, which will be slotted for the 2015-16 school year.

Trustee Julianne Randall, who was the only no vote, stated that she still still thought it was good for students to be in school and in the classroom.

What are your thoughts on this? Is this something you would like to see in Laramie Country School District 1? Are you ok with the decision for your children going to school four days a week, rather than five? We'd like to know.
