Bear Sighting Reported In Laramie
The City of Laramie is warning residents about a bear sighting earlier today.
The following was posted on the City of Laramie Facebook page:
"BEAR SIGHTING REPORTED - June 5, 2026
Parts of the Greenbelt are being shut down due to a bear sighting report. Barricades are being installed in the area around Commerce and Spruce Streets. Please remain bear aware!:"
Bear sightings seem to be a trend in southeast Wyoming lately. There have been at least two verified bear sightings in Cheyenne in the last month or so.
