City of Laramie Apologizes For Quality Of Curb Spraying, Corrective Work

The City of Laramie has taken to social media to apologize for the quality of curb spraying and gutter work in Downtown Laramie.

''This Does Not Reflect The Quality Of Work We Expect"

A post on the City of Laramie Facebook page apologizes for the work, adding the following:

''This does not reflect the quality of work we expect from Public Works. In our haste to correct the problem, we applied gray paint intended to match the underlying concrete, which is a common practice. Unfortunately, this made the affected areas look worse. Streets Staff was directed to pressure wash the affected areas and complete the correction properly. We will also review our training, equipment-use procedures, and supervisory oversight to prevent this from happening again.''

Anyone who has had personal property damaged ny the city work is being asked to call 307-721-5276.
