Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen will join mayors from across the country in Albuquerque next week for the 2015 Mayors Conference on Entrepreneurship.

With a focus on "Recipes for Growth," mayors and entrepreneurship experts will discuss the role cities and mayors play in creating vibrant and innovative entrepreneurial economies.

"This will provide information on best practices, networking with others and returning to Cheyenne with new ideas and tools for startup entrepreneurs and businesses," said Mayor Kaysen. "As I think about the West Edge Project, working on downtown revitalization as well as other community projects, I look forward to the conference."

The conference is convened by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in partnership with Mayor Richard J. Berry of Albuquerque.

"The mayors attending this conference understand how important entrepreneurs are to economic growth, job creation and innovation," said Jason Wiens, Policy Director at the Kauffman Foundation. "The goal of the conference is to send mayors home with new 'recipes.'"
