Winds that are expected to top out around 70 miles per hour have resulted in the closure of stretches of interstates 80 and 25 in southeast Wyoming this morning  to some vehicles.

That's according to the WYDOT Road and Travel website.

The website says Interstate 25 is closed to light, high-profile vehicles under 5000 GVW {Gross Vehicle Weight] between the Colorado State Line and Wheatland. Travelers along that stretch of the Interstate face and extreme blow-over risk, according to the website.

Meanwhile, Interstate 80 faces restrictions on light, high profile vehicles between Cheyenne and Rawlins. It is closed to such vehicles weighing less than 5000 pounds between Laramie and Rawlins and weighing under 40000 pounds between Cheyenne and Laramie.
