Interstate 80 Closures, Restrictions In Effect On Friday
A portion of Interstate 80 in Wyoming was closed as of 9;30 a.m. Friday, while strong winds had prompted restrictions for light, high profile vehicles over another stretch of I-80.
That's according to the WYDOT Road and Travel Conditions website.
According to the post, Interstate 80 was closed in both directions between Rock Springs and Rawlins due to winter weather conditions. The expected opening time was listed as "unknown.''
Meanwhile, I-80 between Rawlins and Laramie was also closed to light, high-profile vehicles due to strong winds causing an "extreme blow-over risk."
No closures or restriction were listed for Interstate 25 at last report.
